We can establish acceptable “normal” ranges within the 30th and 70th percentiles (i.e. 1 standard deviation) from 30 years of local weather data.  We can also model wet and dry conditions and calculate the respective hydrological changes to the site as a function of their deviation from “typical.”  In addition we will cover the use of USGS StreamStats web application, including the Probability of Streamflow Permanence (PROSPER) tool.

Product Description

Determining the hydrological conditions of a wetland is a critical step to filling out a wetland data form. We have created this 3-topic online workshop to help students familiarize themselves with using the Antecedent Precipitation Tool (APT), Wetland Water Budget Modeling Software (Wetbud), and the Probability of Streamflow Permanence (PROSPER) tool.
